Hi all, just wanted to let everyone know about my wonderful little find from a trip back home to Oregon this summer. A mint condition, 6 inch, C & C Drum Carder for only $15.00 bucks at the GoodWill in Lincoln City, Oregon. I totally flipped out when I saw the price. I grabbed it so fast and was looking around, like I thought someone was going to grab it out of my hands. Now the question was... how am I going to get this large dangerous looking thing home with me and past security at the Air Port. Well they wouldn't let me carry it like a baby so i had to say good buy to her while they gently wraped it all up in heavy plastic. I only prayed it would get there in one peice, being checked in with everyone elses bags. I was a total reck for the entire flight, but my little buddy made it back just fine with out a scratch. Now it is sitting in my sewing/knitting/spinning room just waiting for some raw fiber. My friend up the road has 2 sheep and I am going to be hitting her up for some fiber. Maybe I can mop her floors in return. Smiles! Laurel
