I'm new to the web, but I've been a weaver for 20+ years. Recently I've had retina troubles and am now as blind as the proverbial bat. ( Well, close enough so that I can't see to wind warps or thread the loom!) Any hints/tips from other blind or visually impaired weavers? I must admit that my weaving is what I miss the most. (But blindness is a great excuse for not cleaning the oven!)
So yes, fellow guild members and friends,
the rumors are true.
(But I still love to plan and paint/dye warps.
