Greetings spinners and weavers! I am looking into getting a new spinning wheel and am wondering if anyone has had experience with a wheel made by Carson Cooper. At his web-site, ztwist.com, I am seeing what looks to me like very nice work indeed and there is every indication that this fellow knows what he is doing when it comes to building a good traditional-looking heavy wheel with good modern bearings. And on top of that, the prices seem quite reasonable when stacked against the other hand-built wheels. I would love to hear opinions from folks who have owned, seen, or tried out one of his wheels. It is a bit of a plunge to go ordering something this major sight unseen without having some sort of word-of-mouth recommendation! Thanks!
