I am warping a table covering 54" wide. It is only my second project. I cannot get all the warp threads for 54" on the warping board at once. I fill the warping board as much as the pegs will hold, take off the warp and sley it then go back and warp another
round. It seems like I will need to repeat this 4 times.
Is this the normal way to solve this problem or is there a "real"
way to do a wide warp. I am using pearlized cotton for the project. I think I was able to get 120 threads onto the board till the pegs were full.
If there is no quick answer just direct me to a book. I am using Deborah Chandlers book to teach myself. I do not see this addressed so far. Thank you for any help. Julie
