I use spray starch on any sticky warp and that seems to work. Also, if you think you're going to have this problem with other warps, starch (dress) them BEFORE you warp the loom. I usually starch any of my handspun warps. It makes tham a lot easier to deal with and the starch washes out when you full the fabric. You might also consider changing to wide eye, string, or texsolv heddles. They're a lot easier on the warp. That will help keep it from fraying so much.
