You've answered your own question...buy a wheel that you love and want to look at, touch, and have in your living room forever. Although there are differences in various wheels (ratios, etc.) love is the thing that will keep you spinning! I have a Schacht wheel that I can hardly keep my hands off of. And if I'm going to be looking at it and touching it anyway, why not be spinning?
