find that rugtalk list on yahoo. you will find that there are quite a few weavers in NZ i think.....at least several are on this list. i'll bet it the rod and the way you have it tied to the apron/beam.....if you are using really high tension this often happens. -must- you use so much tension? and then too, the word tension is not a measurable word exactly. you say high tension, what or how do you/me decide what is high tension? high tension to one person may be medium tension to the next person and vice-versa. you don't say what brand your loom is? let us know what you are weaving on, surely someone will have experience with that brand of loom too. you soluntion is probably just an email away! happy weaving, dave
