Yes, I can see how that could work. I'm thinking you might want to clamp the loom to the table top first, and run the warp chain through a set of lease sticks to keep the tangles straight as you wind. I'm guessing that keeping an even tension will be the hardest part, just like in sectional warping. I just saw the label on an unused set of structo spools on ebay that says it held 60 ends of 20/2 cotton warp thread, ten yards long. I've never warped as much as 10 yards. I'd bet it seems like it might last forever.

How are you going to arrange for 60 ends? Wind 60 bobbins and build a spool rack? I don't have any empty structo spools to try this on but I'm always curious about how to make stuff work. It seems like there might be a niche market for rewinding these things.

My Artcraft loom came threaded to a monk's belt pattern and the only way I figured it out was by charting the heddle pattern and looking it up. Lucky for me it was a traditional threading.
