Not to be a buttinski, but I have a 36" Harrisville loom, and it's not really rugged. I wouldn't even try weaving a rug on it, or anything requiring heavy beating. For all I know the smaller looms are more sturdy. Still, if you can try one out before you buy, I'd recommend it.
