Kay, I don't have a Woolee Winder, but a lot of my spinning have them and they LOVE them! As for your plying, you do not need to count, just look at your plied yarn occasionally and pull out about eight inches and let it go slack. If it looks right and does not ply back on itself too much, keep going. If it plies back on itself a lot, you've got too much twist in the plying. Slow down your treadling. And don't forget to tighten your tension as the bobbin fills to keep it drawing on properly. Good luck.
