A local Art Center has what I think is a Swedish belt loom. It needed shafts and heddles. I got it in working conditon. The instruction sheet (dated 1957) indicates that it came from Elizabeth Hanna Imports from San Francisco. I did an Internet search and wound up in a dead end. The weaving width is only about 5" max. It's a simple wooden 2 shaft, plain weave loom that uses a rod that turns forward and backward to change shafts. I have no idea if these are made any more or what the price might be if the Center wanted to sell it. The loom is stamped "Made in Germany". Does any one know anything about these looms?
