I'd first look for a local weaving guild and sign up for a beginning weaving class. I learn better by seeing something done, esp. with guidance and suggestions. Then I'd check weaving books. Mary Black's New Key to Weaving is a gem and probably available through a public library or inter-library loan. Peggy Osterkamp (sp?) has several books or maybe they're video instruction (check Handwoven magazine). Also, Handwoven had one issue on warping last year or so. Interweave Press's web site may have some information either on warping or which issue (and sale of back issues).
