I have been given an old Harris table loom which is in mostly good repair with a few niggly bits I've got to sort out. I've posted a load of pics of it on Photobucket, these are the links to them (in reverse order! The ones where I got the loom are at the bottom.)

I was given the loom by a friend who had rescued it from Freecycle but never had the time to sort out what went where. Neither of us have ever done any weaving before other than tablet/card weaving, which I've done a little of. I was hoping you could offer some advice or suggestions, perhaps tell me where I could find out more about this loom?
Aside from the problem with the reed, which I think I've got situated correctly even if it's not secured, I have had to reconnect some of the levers to the heddle bars (apologies for any wrong terminology!), some of which really need new chains as some were snapped and some bodged back together with string. I think I can raise any 2 heddles I want as it's connected now though, but it will be re-strung soon.
