Hi Gert,

My little shop offers prepared picker teeth, for the homemade picker. Stainless Steel that does not rust can also be acquired, however the stainless steel nails will cost more to process due to the hardness of the nail. Each nail has to be cut from a 4inch length to a 2.5 inch length and then sharpened, thus the cost of the processed nails.

If you want to cut and sharpen your own nails, the common nails can be purchased at any Ace Hardware. For Stainless Steel, you will need to find a nail distributor that offer them and go from there.

Good luck with your picker, I love mine!

Happy picker making!
