Hi,

I am very new to the weaving world and am wanting to purchase a loom. Would it be wise to purchase a rigid heddle and start out with that to see if I would like to continue with weaving, or should I just make the plunge and purchase a table loom? Not really for sure what I will make with these looms. The cost is not much of an issue but I really don't feel at ease buying something very expensive and only doing things I could have done with a less expensive loom. I was told there wasn't much difference in either of these as far as warping goes. I'm very intimidated about the warping procedure. I was given advice that I should take classes....is it that difficult? I'm eager to learn and can normally can understand quickly what needs to be done. So..I'm a little uncertain what type of loom to purchase and about the warping procedure. If someone can help/advice me that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Kim
