Most leclerc looms come with the sectional warp beams as separate combs that are removable by unscrewing the 4 strips. If yours is that way you can remove them (then you don't have the additional space the sectional beam takes up) then generally there is an octagonal shaped back beam that has holes drilled all the way through that you can use texolve cord or another non stretching cord to pull through the holes and attache to a metal rod for your warp to be looped (if you warp from back to front) or tied to (if you warp from front to back)you might find additional information on leclerclooms website. Your teacher might be able to direct you regarding sectional vs regular beam and what type of cord to use for the switch. I ordinarily teach a project with the type of loom the student has ....but that depends on if you have the other equipment to do sectional warping and if you are interested in primarily doing very very long warps (which I never recommend for new weavers until the warping technique they will be primarily using is mastered.)
