I've had pretty good luck with their calling me back lately. Generally, if I leave a message early, I get a call back before too much after noon.
I lucked into an estate sale and got a huge (as in about 60 of the things) box of the spools for about 50¢ each. In excellent shape, etc. Last time I spoke to him, he said he'd look around and see if he could find any they might have stuck in a corner somewhere (the beams). It would be a real thrill if I could get one.
