Theracraft looms are the same as Herald Looms. The company, Bailey Manufacturing stopped making looms in the 70's I think. The looms are made of ash, a hardwood, and were very popular. The tie-up was done with specially shaped wires between the lamms and the treadles. Check to see that you have plenty (some use string instead of missing wires). Janet Meany of the Loom Manual Library has photocopies of the manuals. The linkage of the brake assembly is kind of peculiar, I've sent photos to others who are putting looms together from a box of parts. $50 sounds like a deal if it's complete.
