Weaverman,
I always use a good deal of tension when I wind a bobbin regardless of the fiber type. I also put everything from 75/2 linen to sticky faux mohair on a bobbin in a boat shuttle. You can also try to wind using a dryer sheet as on folded around the yarn as you are winding it on. This will help to cut down on the static electricity which builds up as you are holding the yarn firmly to wind it on. Good Luck,
Sharon
