I have/had three dorset looms in recent years. I have a 21" and had a 26" & a 21" that I sold. All three had the name stamped in the wood on top of the castle. It simply said DORSET. All were 4 harness/4 treadle. I believe they are maple. I weave a lot of towels and scarves on mine. Though I think you could weave just about anything short of a rag rug on it. I just love mine. I think it is one of the best small portable floor looms you can find. Heddles are a bit hard to find as they are an odd size. I think you can get texsolve to fit them.
