I recently purchased this spinning wheel at a tag sale here in CT. The owner had used it as a decorative piece for 20 years. She said she purchased it in a VT antique shop which told her they had purchased it from an estate sale in VT or ME. It appears to have a hand stamped mark of a number on the front beam (under the mother of all) we think it says 1876, 11876 or 1B76 it is worn and hard to make out.

I also think it is missing the flier, but unsure as I am beginner spinner and am only familiar with my Lendrum wheel. Any help, information is welcome.
