Janet Meany of the Weavers Friend will have manual photo copies for you. I will assume that you have the counterbalanced loom. You will find that the pieces go together pretty easily, but you will need to know if you have a rear-hinged or a front hinged treadle set.

Lay side pieces out parallel to each other. Lay the treadles between them so the screw eyes more or less line up with the castle fastening points. The treadle hinge point will line up best with one end or the other. Then you will know where the cross piece with the holes drilled for the treadle hinge goes, either parallel to the breast beam or the back beam. There are also small alignment pins that should help you. Some people have "converted" their loom from rear to front treadles by installing the hinge on the front, but this really doesn't work well.

Of course, if you have the Marcoux jack loom you have an entirely different animal...
