It may also be the hooks that are in the middle of the heddle bar. I don't know if your loom had just j hooks or the actual barrel bolts that the heddle bar fit into. I have had 4 LeClerc looms in my weaving history and find sometimes the bottom heddle bar gets bent forward or backward and gets in the way of the bar in front of or behind it.
