I have a 1930's wooden Structo 600 Loom to sell. It belonged to my husbands grandmother who used it for 3 yrs. according to the patterns and receipts that accompany all the parts. I have been bringing it everywhere I've lived since marrying in 1967, but its first home was in the New Hampshire mountains. I have copied some details down from the accessories manual that I have so I can answer questions if needed. There appears to be many extras including 19 patterns, 125 extra heddles, yard sample cards, the accessory manual and paperwork envelope for the loom with photograph. I figure if I haven't learned this craft by now ...it's not a good time to start.
My daughter lives outside Asheville, N.C. and known weavers abound but I don't know the best way to reach them. Have any advice? Thanks for any help. I will be able to date the loom when I get near it again as the labels are visible and will pass along additional info if needed.
