I make chenille scarves and discovered some of mine that are several years old and worn rather heavily have had the fringe wear badly. I was thinking of warping with another material so the fringe doesn't wear out.I have been using Pearl cotton but it looses the beautiful softness with only the weft in chenille. Can anyone suggest a material that is nearly as soft and will combine with the chenille and have a "healthy" fringe.
