Hello. I am just getting started in the hobby. I have a bag of raw (is that the term? just shorn, nothing else done) Icelandic fleece. since i have a littel arthritis in my hands, it seems that a drum carder would be easier on the joints but I don't know. I heard a piece on NPR about a woman in CA who built a BIG one she powered with a bike. any suggestions? I think since I'm a newbie I'd like to buy the equipment used. any comments and advice are greatly appreciated. Thanks. Carol
