rj,
a good tip for putting a loom together is to look at the light places where the pieces have been together as the wood darkens with age. It is like an outline of the piece that was resting up against it. I have put my oxaback together using this technique. Sometimes the pieces are marked in some way to help them line up. Levard I believe is a British loom, maybe one of the old journal of weaving spinning, dyeing have a picture of one. I know they made some that were quite ornate. I will look in my journals and see if I can find a picture that I can scan to you or snail mail.
