When you do diagonals on a Navajo loom DO NOT interlock. Smooth diagonals do not connect colors. The "rule" for diagonals is "When the yarn is hanging on the left, start with the yarn on the left. When the yarn is hanging on the right, begin with the one on the left. That way you cannot interlock! Sharie
