Yes, I think that $500 is at least twice what one in very good shape should cost. And I am pretty sure that most Unions are only 2 shaft looms. They quit making them in the late 60's. Good rug looms, but I would suggest that you wait until the price goes down, since you will need how-to books, warp, shuttles and other accessories before you could use it.
