The antique barn loom is very very large. I have some history on it. It was found in a old farm house that was being torn down in South Carolina area. I bought it from a guy who lived in North Carolina and worked with woods that were extinct. He was getting the flooring out of the house and he said the wood was from a type of maple that was once designated "Kings tree" and prior to Rev War - no one could cut down. It was made with axe in 1700 and has saw blade a ratchet. The only thing wrong, and it is easily fixed...is the connector on the back of the loom for the foot tredles is missing. I rigged it up with something and actually wove a few articles before I had to take it apart. Huge trees make up the front and back beam. The wood is so hard, you can't push fingernail into it. I got it for $1,500. We live in Harrisburg, PA so you would have to come get it. We picked it up in small trailer when we got it. I have a few pictures of it before I cleaned it up and a picture of the house. Are you interested?
