Furniture quality maple Loomcraft jack loom with 4 shafts, 6 treadles. Loomcraft looms are built by John Post in Colorado, and are beautifully crafted. They are currently stocked by Halcyon Yarn, who carries additional parts and compatible accessories.
45" weaving width, overall width 53", depth 37". Warp beam folds up to fit through standard doorway or for storage.
Nice shed. Large circumference warping beam. Apron straps. Flat steel heddles. Three reeds are included (one in good condition, the other two need minor cleaning). The original cord tieups have been converted to TexSolv, but I still have the cords if you prefer that method. The loom has been stored indoors, and is in good condition. There is a slight warp in lamm #1, but this does not seem to affect weaving function. A vintage bench is also available if desired (it is not a a Loomcraft bench, and needs a bit of TLC).
This is a sturdy, versatile loom - I've woven blankets, towels and and rugs on this loom. I'd love to keep it, but at this point I just have too many looms, and not enough space.
This loom is priced at $2531 new through Halcyon.yarn.com (http://www.halcyonyarn.com/weaving_equip/loomcraftlooms.html). My price is $675 and/or I'm open to offers or a trade for a newer model table loom (I'm hunting for something more portable).
Please contact me via email at shattersea @ cox.net if you have additional questions and/or would like to see pictures. Due to the loom's size, I'm not able to ship it - pick up only please from Mesa, AZ. It will fit into the back of an SUV with the beams temporarily removed. Thanks! ~Heather~
