The "Little Red Spinning Wheel" is a spool knitter, not a spinning wheel at all. You wind the finished yarn you want to knit with on the bobbin that rests on the taller of the two wheel supports, thread it through the small eye at the top of the "maiden" by the smaller wheel, then do the spool knitting with one of the pronged spool knitter that attaches to the top of the geared part that turns as you turn the wheel. The "spinning wheel" comes with attachments with four or more prongs for spool knitting.
