Thanks for your advice Meg. I went to see the loom and it looks to be in quite good shape! The owner and her husband where delightful people and she told me a lot about the loom and showed me items she had woven. I also started my weaving classes and the instructor knows the owner of the loom and has blessed the sale. So I now own a beautiful loom, even though it is still at her house. Since it was raining/pouring out the previous owner is allowing me to let it stay there until we have better weather and the time to move it.
