I bought a Mira Counterbalance loom and I am having problems attaching the harnesses to the treadles. Could someone please help???
I have attached the harnesses to treadle in the middle eye hook of the treadle, starting with the second eye hook in the lams like this: (there are 3 eye hooks on each treadle)
1st harness/lams to the 2nd treadle
2nd harness to the 3rd treadle -
3rd harness to the 4th treadle
4th harness to the 5th treadle
The lady I bought the loom from did not have the 1st & 6th lams hooked up - said it work without them being hooked up. So I don't know where to put them.
When I push down on the treadles, they do not go back in place when released. If I push down on treadle one, two goes up, if I push back on two, one goes up - either way they stay until the other is pushed. Plus they stay up when I try to push either 3 or 4.
Does anyone have a picture of how they attached the treadles to the harnesses???
