I have to give up weaving due to orthopedic and vision problems. I'm having a big yard sale on Saturday, October 4. I live at Celina, Tennessee, just south of the Kentucky border, mid-state about 45 minutes north of Cookeville. I am selling: a Nilus LeClerc, 40" wide 4-harness jack, with a hansbuilt sectional beam, $500.00; an Ashford Traditional spinning wheel, $250.00, hand built bobbin rack, $75.00, handbuilt electric bobbin winder, with a sewing machine motor and treadle, $50.00, plastic swift, $25.00, hand built tension box, $25.00,(I'm also a woodworker; they are functional) and much yarn. I'm talking huge amounts of yarn, all natural materials; cotton, silk, wool, rayon, linen. No synthetics. No dry rot. It's really good stuff. I've got chenilles, rug wools, bouclettes, loop monhairs, handspuns, lots of fine cottons and rayons, rug linen warp. A weaver's dream. This stuff hasn't been in storage. It's pretty new. A lot of it was purchased in the past year. But this past summer I got clobbered by a cow big time, and then broke my kneecap in a separate incident. And I have double vision. I just can't weave anymore, facing facts. So I'm letting it go. All of it. I've been a weaver since 1968. I hate to let it go, but realize that I can't do this anymore. So if you're interested in some pretty yarns and want some quality stuff, and can make the trip, this is the chance to get a treasury of good weaving materials at minimal cost. I'm not interested in making a profit, and am selling these materials at way below market value. I live at 282 Betty Buford Drive, Celina, TN. My phone number is (931) 243-2131. The sale is 9-4, again, on October 4. It's off highway 53, 2 miles west of highway 52, Celina, TN. Please help me get this stuff off my hands. With regrets, Meg
