Uneven weft/smile on end of your woven items. It can be caused by putting more tension on your beam/apron....mainly the rod or sometimes I've even seen a dowel used to tie the warp onto the cloth beam. If the rod/dowel is not strong enough to work at the tension you crank on, it may cause the rod to bend. Usually in the center which can make that smile/frown in your woven item. Also if the woven item is narrower than the rod.....and the rod is tied all the way across the beam.....that can make a curve. Your rod should be lashed/tied to the beam the same width as your woven item. Happy weaving !
