Union 36 - warping for two projects at once

I have put 20 turns of warp on the center 7 sections of my Union 36. Then I put 10 turns on the next outer 4 sections on each side of the center(total 15 sections 4, 7, 4. I intend to use all 15 sections to start for a wide project and when the 8 outside sections are used I will continue with the inside 7 sections for a narrower project.

The question is: Will I run into any problems with my tension?

Also can I change my warp from a front to back heddle to acommodate a new pattern with the warp. ie. Log Cabin to Kentucky Mountain.

I have learned everything I know from books and can't decide if I want to go through all that work just to find out it won't work!

Thanks for any help in advance,
Mary
