Hi All, the Spinning Fairy just dropped an antique Swiss-style upright spinning wheel into my lap. It is complete except for the flyer. The space between the maidens is very tight, so I'm guessing the original flyer was one of those metal-arm jobs.
Does anyone have any pictures of such a flyer? This would be a single-drive bobbin-lead setup, with a metal orifice mounted through a brake band. Any ideas appreciated! Carl
