I was at Big Lots last night and happened to see some desk lamps in the furniture department. There is a black one that would be perfect for what you are wanting to do. The lamp is released from the base by unscrewing one screw. This lamp is almost exactly like the one shown on the Schacht website. I even bought one for myself. Hope this helps.
