You're talking abut Peaches and Cream on a cone, right? It's too heavy and too linty. I'd stick with 8/2 unmercerized cotton weaving yarn if you're doing cotton towels. The worsted weight yarn you're looking at might be absorbent, but doesn't dry out again quickly enough, and my experience with it is LINT!
