In order to weave rosepath double weave maybe seeing your 8 harnesses as 2 sets of four might help you organize your pattern. on the first 4 shafts you thread the draft as indicated, then then put a b on each of the remaining 4 shafts example( 5=1b, 6=2b, 7=3b 8=4b) to thread you need first your 1's (1,1b,2,2b,3,3b,4,4b),then you follow your four shaft pattern by treadling similtaneously your 2picks for layer one, then your 2picks for layer 2. I'm not in my studio, so I can't be specific as to which sequence it follows, but remember double weave is (1,123,3,134) feel free to email me if this doesn't make sense.
