I have a 4-shaft Herald Loom. The metal shaft that holds the cloth beam to the frame has begun to protrude on the non-ratchet side of the loom (left as you sit at the loom) to the point where it is scraping a grove in the beater support. The shaft on the other side is recessed. I have no idea if they are connected. I never paid much attention until I began to notice the scraping sound.
My husband has tried pounding and turning to no avail. Has anyone got any suggestions?
