Michael Wilson was(is?) a wheelwright who worked in Berea Kentucky. He was featured in Fine Woodworking Mag Sept/Oct 1984, A Visit to Berea Kentucky. (article has good picture of wheel, bad picture of him -- still don't know what he looked like.) He made 3 types of wheel that I've been able to track, a very small Upright, a Saxony, and a Norwegian. They seem to come in maple, cherry, and walnut. His wheels are prized among spinners as beautiful wheels that are truely sweet spinners. I bought one of the small cherry uprights used. Congrads on your find, and happy spinning!
