Hello all,
I am getting ready to buy a floor weaving loom and I am torn between getting a Newcomb or a Leclerc Nilus. Both are approximately 45 inches wide, 4 harness, 6 treadle, and jack style I believe. I am going to be weaving with alpaca fiber and will be doing projects such as rugs, blankets, placemats, etc. (pretty much anything I can). So, which one would be better for my needs? What are the pros and cons of each? I am totally new to weaving and know nothing about it, not even how to weave yet. Help?
Thank you
Patty
