Hello Penn, I can see why the thought crossed your mind. But, I really think you would be better off buying a new loom the size want, or just waiting until the right used loom shows up for sale. Trying to cut down a loom, you're likely to end up with a messed up loom that doesn't work properly or comfortably. Also you're going to spend a lot of money for those shorter harnesses, reeds, etc. It's amazing how much more the parts cost when they are bought separately. I once had to replace the drive wheel on my Ashford Traditional wheel and it cost almost as much as a whole new wheel! By the way, how was your class at The Mannings?
