It's possible your sectional beam bars are screwed to a base beam. Check this first. If so, you could just remove them. If this isn't the case, you might be able to jerryrig a fix by screwing boards on edge as high or higher than the pegs, lengthwise between their rows. If the wood pegs are evenly rowed, I can visualize that these auxilary boards could be butted right up against the pegs, in such a way that the stress of tension on the warp could be evenly distributed across the peg sides, care being taken to consider your winding direction when doing so. Then you could attach an apron/tie-on bar to this. What do you think? Meg
