Hi Jo An,

The spools on a structo hold layers of warp based on ends per inch. If your spools are empty you'll need to figure out a way to rewind them. If you have a spool rack with enough bobbins to wind warp sections onto the bobbins this will work. I was able to convert one of these to a plain beam on the back which is much more practical. I guess that you could wind your warp and beam it from front to back - being careful to wind the proper number of ends onto each spool but I think converting it to a plain beam would be easier in the long run.
