I use a regular bobbin winder, feed spools off a spool rack, through a tension box. So, put your spool rack up, set the tensioner on the floor loom front or back beam, then the bobbin winder in front of that. Wind from the spool rack thru the tensioner to the bobbin winder/spool. If you don't have a spool rack, get a metal rod long enough to hold your spools, spread it between the back of two kitchen chairs, thru the tensioner. If you don't have a tensioner, make one. Get s couple of short board, stand on edge, have holes all ready drilled thru them that will accept maybe 4 dowels that are a half in or bigger...bigger is best. Make your own tensioner.
