Contact Joanne Hall at Glimakrausa and she can give you more information. SHe also has some information on her website. I know there are a lot of these looms out there. I know of one person who has had problems with an old standard loom. AS far as theused yarns, you have to just see if they are strong enough to do what you want them to do. If they are going to be warp tug on them and see if the easily break. If they are going to be weft then this is not necessary for them to be as strong, but you don't want them falling apart in your hands. How expensive and well made the yarns were in the first place makes a difference. Good luck,
