Allen, The placement of the seam really is not that important.The two parts of the pattern are overlayed and when done right you should not see a break in the pattern.The coverlet in the end should be a homogeneous unit with no lines that the eye can detect.Buy some cheap wall paper and overlay the repeat. That is what you can trying to accomplish.
